About Dexie Care
Dexie Care represents a breakthrough collaboration between SingHealth, Singapore's largest public healthcare group, and dConstruct Robotics. Specifically designed for dementia care, it combines gentle physical interaction with cognitive engagement programs.
The robot's CareAI Platform continuously monitors patient behaviour patterns, detecting early signs of agitation, confusion, or distress. Its soft-touch exterior and expressive face create a calming, non-threatening presence for patients with cognitive decline.
Clinical trials at SingHealth facilities showed significant reductions in patient agitation episodes and improved engagement during daily activities. Dexie Care is currently in an expanded pilot phase across multiple Singapore healthcare facilities.
